Well, apparently he's a shady financial figure who provides funds for Nathan's political campaign and is determined to retrieve stolen funds from Niki...
He just seems so shady..I'm sure there has to be something that he is related to  |

oo yeah.. hes the dude who was crashing into the back of nathans car..
and speaking about that, wouldnt he have seen nathan fly out if they were right behind him? think they know about that powers? |

| Mmm, I think if they'd known about his powers, they wouldn't have tried to use the Nikki "incident" tape for blackmail. However, it is a little sketchy that nobody said anything. |

Linderman is a Las Vegas loan shark whose identity has not yet specifically been revealed. I personally thought at first that "Linderman" was actually the Japanese lady who worked in Linderman's office when Nathan and Niki were both there, and she was just using the "assistant" thing to cover up the fact that she was pulling all the strings.
However, after the last episode which aired, it has become apparent that HRG is not the one truly in charge of the operation which documents and, apparently, augments the powers of the superhumans. Remember when he was ordered over the phone not to kill Sylar? So someone is in charge of his operation. I believe Linderman's loan shark operation may be one of dozens of cover-up organizations (like the paper company front HRG works at) that exist to document and police the superhumans in secret. Linderman may simply be one of dozens of aliases for the head honcho of that organization. |

| Yeah, I'd have to say I'd believe that. Considering there haven't been any direct ties to Linderman yet, besides Nathan and Isaac I suppose.. I'd believe that HRG was talking to a big fish -- Linderman. |

Yeah, I don't remember the painting either
But I'm thinking that Linderman is highly up there in the shady business heirarchy since we know so little about him and his intentions! |
