Talk about season 8 comics here.
Does anyone else feel that the comics flow just like the show did? |

I think that's because of the different writers. Joss has the overall creative watch, writes some personally but you get a slightly different flavour with each writer.
Explain more about what you mean by the flow Zy. |

I agree if you mean that they have the same pacing as the show did. When we read the comics, we even look at the "commercial breaks:" places in which the action stops for a page of ads or even two pages.
I have to admit, I love the stuff in which Buffy is more directly involved more but am enjoying the Faith saga. Just went to Darkhorse.com and saw the covers for the next three issues. There are also short descriptions which some might consider spoilerish so go at your own risk.
The great news is that after the next issue, which will end the Faith storyline, Joss will be writing two and they are going to be Buffy and Willow centric. Can't wait. Oh and has anyone gotten the new Angel comics yet. I have to call my comic guy and see if it's out yet. |

Yeah that's what I meant, the comics just feel like watching the show. Like you said Blackarachnia, even the ads are just like commercial breaks.
I'm really enjoying the Faith arc, I happen to like Faith and I'm glad that they've brought her back to the series. I'm looking forward to the comic for December.
And BA I've got the Angel comic on order, they're not in until November 28th though, at least that's what he said to me. |
