"Ando's Theory"

Remember in Fallout when Hiro and Ando were talking just before getting the call from Isaac? Ando was saying maybe it was, Save the cheerleader then save the world.

What if that's what future Hiro meant? Maybe Peter saving the cheeleader is his lesson/trial on the path of true Herodom... Maybe this is his "Wax on/Wax off" (Karate Kid reference for all you youngins).

So what do y'all think about Ando's Theory?????

That is a great way to look at Ando's theory (and I do love Ando)! I think that saving Claire may have stopped Sylar in one way (from becoming almost unstoppable) but on the other hand, it obviously didn't stop "the exploding man." I can't believe the brain power we have here. You guys come up with great theories and I love discussing them. It's kind of who I am and it's definitley what I do. /clap /clap

I loved that scene in the episode. It was such a great way to cheer up Hiro- but rational too! I'd forgotten about it. Thanks for bringing it up. Mr. Green

I think saving the cheerleader was a step to save the world. Maybe Claire has to be there, in order for it to even be possible to stop the exploding man. However, her alone won't stop him.

I agree. It's so much more fun to theorize when there's other people to build on those ideas.

I almost typed more funner. That would have been embarrassing, especially in response to an english teacher's post. Razz

XD I don't know why the word "funner" always seems to weed into our speech.

Indeed, it really makes the show so much more rich having people to discuss the concepts that are introduced to us. Also, I agree with Imagine, saving the cheerleader was probably a step toward saving the world. Ando tends to help Hiro through wisdom, and I can imagine that the writers intended that scene in order to whisper a little hint in our ear~

I agree, I think saving Claire was a step in saving the world, I also think that stopping the exploding man is the next step, But one thing puzzles me; if 'whoever is the one that explodes' would they survive it? I mean, if they didn't then the world would still be there but city won't, I mean, that would be bad but it wouldn't be the end of the world, unless the exploding man survives and can do it all over the world (or something along the lines of that). Maybe to stop him, they'll have to kill him. *shrugs* Who knows, but that's Zanko's Theory.... Mr. Green
