So, after watching "Godsend" with my grade 11's, one pointed out to me that Hiro's cool new sword (or katana) has the same symbol on it that is on Suresh's book, on Jessica's back, and in many other places. It is a single helix, half of what makes up our DNA.
If the writers aren't just screwing with us, then this can only mean that whatever force, God or fate, is putting things into motion and bringing the heroes together, has been around for a long long time and so, maybe have mutated genes causing some people to have special abilities. This has huge implications for the show and for our beloved characters. How long have these changes been manifesting themselves...how may others have tried to fix the problems of the world...have they succeeded...or have they failed. |

| Aw man, these people are making things way too complicated with the whole this happened in the past thing and just... I dont know. Hmm... I wonder if maybe the group of people who are the same as our heroes but just from generations back had the same powers. Like, some protective guy could fly and a very optimistic person could bend time and space, and a guy with an addictive personality could paint the future. |

Well, Claude did say there was another just like Peter (he called him an empath). So, odds are that there were others with similar powers. Maybe not all of them, but some. |
