|
|
The past is revisited as the clock turns back six months to when Mohinder's father, Chandra Suresh (Erick Avari), arrived in New York to search for individuals with extraordinary powers. At the same time, Peter graduates from nursing school; Nathan's work affects his family; Niki's visiting father brings out the worst in her; Hiro tries to help someone important; and Claire makes a strange discovery after joining the cheerleading squad. Heidi Petrelli: Rena Sofer. Eden: Nora Zehetner.
Even though we get to see all this background stuff which I'm looking forward to, I want to know what happens to Peter and Sylar, dammit!!! |

I agree! I don't like having a break in the action.
I hope it's not boring in comparison because they have totally set us up for lots of continuing action! Here's hoping... *crosses fingers* |

It was a great ep.
I think in know why Hiro could not save her.
I think Future Hiro stopped him, cuase if he was able to, then a rift in time would form.
Why?
Cuase by saving her, he would no longer need to save her, and the action of saving her would be nulled.
cause time must flow linear format. |

This most reacent episode did a lot to explain why things are the way they are. Take Nathan for instance. He flew out of the car and that crash made Heidi paralyzed . He feels guilty for that and that explains why he was so reluctant to admit he could fly.
Did anyone else notice that Niki's alter-ego name is her sister's name? It makes me wonder if Their dad was a scientist like Suresh and somehow put both sisters into one body. He was able to erase the memory from Niki, but Jessica still remembered. Just some thoughts. |

It seems likely that when Jessica was killed by their father, that Niki developed a split personality. The Jessica side came out when their father beat Niki so that Niki didn't have to deal with it. Sometimes, things that are so horrible can happen to people that they have to split their selves into two or more personalities. And I think that Niki could also have super-strength in the future if she can find a way to reintegrate the Jessica side of her. |

yeah i agree ,well you know how nikki was sitting in front of jessica's tombstone and she said " we cant forget about her...we have to remember " something like that, but six months later she has no idea who jessica is, why do you think she forgot?
also, that part when nathan flew out of the car, did he mean to do that? |

I don't know if she completely forgot who Jessica was but she did forget that their father killed her. Have to watch it again.
And I don't think Nathan meant to fly. I think it was an involuntary reaction to stay alive. I think he is a much better person than we've seen so far. He's just much more jaded than Peter who broke away from their father's influence and became a nurse instead of following in his footsteps and becoming a lawyer. |

This was undoubtedly my favourite episode so far!
I think Hiro being unable to save Charlie had do with this this show dealing with destiny. It showed Hiro's limitations, that despite he can alter the past, he can't stop it.
Don't read the following if you have not yet seen the episode.
Charlie says in this episode that she'd given up on life before she met Hiro, because of the aneurysm. Do you think then that Hiro, going back in the past, actually altered it for the worse? Previously, she was unaware of her death and was making plans for the future, was happy. Then of course, she was murdered. Hiro going back changed the past so that she knew she was dying and had given up on living, so she didn't make the most of her last few months. At the same time though, him going back enabled them to fall in love...
Also, I love that Sylar's original power is taking other's powers. For some reason, I always thought it was going to be some sort of scientific extraction that anyone in the show could do. The fact that only Sylar can is going to lend itself to plenty of more storylines..
This episode was soooooooooo good!! |

Once again, don't read this unless you've seen the episode, or don't mind spoilers.
I'm going to be upset if Charlie does end up dying, which looks likely. I really love her character. Plus, Hiro is going to be depressed and I'll miss his bubbly, cheery character. Of course, he'll be back like that sooner or later. |
