| Claire already has a sidekick in the geeky guy who filmed all her exploits of attempted self-destruction. Her brother may figure into the story somehow. However, I have a wacky theory of my own in another thread - Check it out! |

I personally can't see them giving her brother powers...far too coincidental. I do think he's going to take on an important role in the upcoming episodes..after all, you can't just forget your sister is invincible. Actually, I can almost see him trying to discover that he is 'super human' in some way too. He could be a catalyst for Claire's struggle...in trying to save him, she ends up in trouble herself. Maybe he'll even be used as bait?

I think he definitely may be used as "bait." It's obvious that Claire cares about him and any time you care about someone who knows your secrets, that makes you vulnerable. And even though her geeky buddy does know, she's not as closely connected to him.
And HRG did say that he and his wife had a hard time conceiving a child, so it is possible that her brother is also adopted and maybe in the same kind of circumstances as Claire (don't want to give anything away if you haven't seen "Seven Minutes to Midnight." |

I just saw it today. 
If her brother was adopted for the same reason that Claire was, I guess it's very possible for him to possess powers. That explanation would make it a lot less coincidental.
By the way, does Claire's brother have a name? |
