I don't think it can be a mark from HRG since that wouldn't explain why it is only visible on Jessica and not on Niki. And I too am hoping for answers in January!! Answers, dammit, answers!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

If I remember right, the marks on Parkman and Radioactive Man (giggle) are on their shoulders and are simply a couple of dark marks resembling incision scars. They are probably places where something was done to the two of them to amplify their powers. Remember Parkman's mind reading became a little TOO strong after meeting with HRG and the Haitian, and Ted said his powers became truly dangerous after he saw the Haitian?

As for the Helix mark, I can remember seeing it in the following places: running through the code on Chandra Suresh's computer screensaver, in the funky little black tattoo mark on Niki's back, on the back of Suresh's book, and on the Haitian's necklace. I'm sure the helix must have some meaning related to superhuman genetic codes, but I don't know how much it could have to do with the "eleven" marks on Matt & Ted.

I am, however, looking forward to Matt & Ted's excellent adventure.
ZAH!

Lol, yah that was the second episode i think. It was hoses floating in a pool that were arranged in the shape of the symbol. Maybe Jessica did it.... Shocked

I think the element of destiny or fate and the idea that all our heroes are fated to be who they have and will become might explain the helix. I don't think there are any coincidences in Heroes.

Hey, Tim Kring, are you reading this? We want you to have a plan and not to dick us around. So, be sure this symbol is explained. Wink Wink

LOL BA!
I agree, I think that everything is included for a reason. I don't think that the writers would have some symbol in there just for the heck of it Razz

I think it's safe to say that everybody misses the show. x_x

Also, the writers of such genius deserve the benefit of doubt. They'll have answers!

Could it be a super-human DNA strand? It looks like a partial strand and that would explain why it was on Activating Evolution and on the guy's screen saver. It's probably part of the genetics that altered the human complex and gave our Heroes powers.

I think you're on the right track. It has to be related and why not be the actual cause.

Well, since the whole series seems to run on fate, i think that the heroes are meant to come in contact with or own or have something to do with that symbol only because of the fact that their heroes. Like Jessica's tatoo which she probably got somewhere before she died, and the Haitian's necklace which he probably got from it being passed down to him or maybe he just saw it at a market, and Hiro's sword as well. I think the fate thing seems to be the most logical reason for all the heroes to be getting the symbol
