|
|
Okay, after watching "Godsend," I have a theory that I have to give half credit for to my husband. I think that Linderman is behind the entire "Organization." I think he's the one funding HRG's operation and the one who wants to keep Sylar alive for his own purposes.
So why do I think this?
First of all, why is Linderman buying all of Isaac's paintings? Isaac is an unknown artist who hasn't proven that his paintings will be worth anything in the future. But if Linderman knows that the paintings show the future, then he would want to get his hands on them as soon as they're painted.
Also, as we are beginning to see, fate or destiny is playing a much larger part in the lives of our heroes than might have been previously indicated. As Nathan found out when he was just telling Isaac that things in the real world don't just fall into place, and then in walks Hiro who mentions that Linderman has the sword and then recognizes "the flying man."
If Linderman is behind all of HRG's organization, his motives are obviously not pure. He should have killed Sylar when they caught him but he wants to understand how Sylar takes others' powers. Could it be so he can somehow use that knowledge to do the same.
It can't be the government as that would be way to "X-Files." And what better ultimate villain is there than the mob. Ties into all levels of police, gov't, crime, etc.
Any thoughts? |

That's solid. It all makes sense, too.
First of all, remember in the ep where Niki/Jessica and Nathan got it on in the Vegas hotel room while Linderman taped the whole thing? Remember that Japanese girl who was supposed to be Linderman's assistant/secretary or whatever, and Nathan told his goons to make sure to see Linderman face to face and not let the assistant girl be coy with them? Remember how she managed to skeet out of the room without letting them actually see Linderman?
I think not only is Linderman behind it all, I THINK THE JAPANESE GIRL IS LINDERMAN! I think she is in charge of it all and just uses the persona of Linderman as a front.
Of course, my theory could just turn out to be. . .

| I don't believe the Japanese girl is Linderman due to the fact that he has to be at least as old as Peter and Nathans Dad. I do however believe Linderman is running things from behind the scenes. |

| BA- I hope you and your husband are right. As I mentioned in another thread, I really want Linderman and Sylar to be connected. There needs to be one larger antagonistic force, rather than these two separate ones. |

Turns out that Hiro is just really rich and his dad is just a traditional Japanese businessman who didn't liek his son taking off on some wild adventure.
I still think Linderman runs HRG's organization and has been manipulating the heroes for over 16-18 years (based on Claire's age). |

| Okay...what further proof do we need that Linderman knows all about our heroes and that he is at least, in some part, behind what is happening to them. HE LET JESSICA GO!!! There is only one reason he would do that. He wants her out there to do his dirty work, one way or another. Maybe he thinks he can recruit her and now that he has proof of her abilities, how hard will it be to bribe or manipulate her. Of course, maybe not that easy and I sure would love to see Jessica get her hands on him. |
