Right, I'm about to post the thread with story details for us all to play with, but here's some stuff you'll need to know.

The world of Gaia is split up into 5 empires (each owning a continent):

Ivalice- The continent where the main characters originate, a land with a very rich environment and vast countryside. However, within it's large deep forests and high glaciers and mountains, there are many monsters and fiends lurking. Adventurers are teenagers that have excelled in their towns and villages and have been schooled in the War Academies, where warriors are produced to protect the nation from it's growing monster problem. This country remains neutral in the war, but unrest with it's government's council suggests it may choose a side soon.

Genkin- A mercenary state that produces merc's of all varieties to "sell" as elite soldiers to other nations. Even though it is largely a haven for mercenaries worldwide, the country is strictly neutral and as a state, not involved in any of the wars.

Akogi- A large, barren continent, housing a cruel and greedy empire. Little is known why this harsh warrior obsessed empire attacks other nations, but there is little honour in their rich King, who seeks to destroy and conquer their neighbouring continent, Daitoshi.

Daitoshi- A medium, technologically advanced continent that is thriving with energy crystals. Rumoured to be the reason Akogi attacks their empire, the energy crystals are stored under safeguard beneath the many large, metropolis cities, such as Midgar and Balamb. Currently in a reluctant war with Akogi.

Wutai- A small peaceful nation. Their country is a very spiritual one, and acts as a safe retreat for people from all nations who wish to escape war and battles. The retreat won't be a cheap one though, as the nation lies in the middle of the Eastern ocean, protected by fiece currents in the sea making it only accessible by airship.

These 4 nations will house many areas and cities that are similar to those found in all of the Final Fantasy games, as well as many of the characters from each game. I'm open to suggestions for cities and characters that should play a part in the story, so please post who you'd like to see and where you'd like to go. I currently have the following characters to play parts in the RPG:

Cid Highwind (VII) and Vivi in Ivalice;
Rikku and Cloud in Daitoshi;
Squall and Rinoa in Akogi.

As for created characters, we currently have three created and would like another two to be created under these guidlines:

A female white mage who will be the love interest for Zyro. She will know him from childhood, but both moved to seperate villages and ended up being brought into a group with Billix, Zyro (and the second character) in the War Academy.

The second can be male or female, of any job class (as long as it's familiar to the FF series). This character will have to be orphan, and (originally) of Akogi descent, having moved to Ivalice after losing his/her parents.

Weight: 147 lb
Age: 17
Apparence: short/spikey black hair, dark green/yellowy eyes, medium frame, slightly toned.
Class: Warrior
Sub Class: Time Mage (you van make these up as long as they have a familar feel to an FF game)
Weapon: Spear/Javelin
Personality: Upbeat, but often quiet. Fiercly loyal.
Brief history: Brought up in a small village, with little to no contact with girls his age. Worked on a farm for his parents and lost his older brother to a monster on a mountain near his village.

Name: Keiko Chigusa
Height: 5"3
Weight: 115 lb
Age: 18
Apparence: Medium length hair, purple eyes (yes it's fantasy, so I can do that Razz

) small frame, curvy.
Class: Ninja
Sub Class: Thief
Weapon: Duel dagger (small katanas, kunai etc).
Personality: Loud and stubborn, gives off the wrong impression to many (especiallly Zyro).
Brief History: Little is known about Keiko, but she grew up on the streets at age 13 after deserting her adopted father and teacher of her martial arts training.

Ok, that took a while to write, hope you all get involved, post some suggestions and even create one of the two characters we need (once we have the five, the other characters will be filled by FF people we pick up on the way). I'm also willing to let people use Keiko if they wish.
