For those of you who might be wondering, I went for a 3D ultrasound last week. It was a truly amazing experience and one that I will remember for my entire life. And we finally know the gender of the baby. It's a...boy. Yes, it was very very clearly a boy. In fact, on the DVD of the whole thing, you can see "it" and the cursor circling it.
I've attached some pics of my shy little boy. He kept his right arm in front of his face for the entire time. I sleep with my hands up by my face too so I guess he really is my son.

Hey BA. Congrats on the baby's gender. Sorry I couldn't be there last Thursday when you told anime club (Stephan and Ricky didn't tell me the gender, bastards  ). I hope you two come to a decision on a good name ^^
Make sure your son calls me Uncle Ken. Lol |

Thanks. We are pretty sure we have the name but want to make sure for a week or two more before we tell anyone. It's not a name really; it's two words. And no, it's not fruit. For some reason, my students always think it's fruit: "Is it apple?" Idiots.
And of course, you'll be Uncle Ken. He's going to have lots of cool uncles. |

Lol, alright well I'll be waiting to meet the new bundle of joy. And I'm glad I'm gonna be Uncle Ken  And yeah, he's going to have a bunch of cool uncles ^^ |

| Congratulations on finding out that your baby is a boy. I'd hold back on announcing your name idea, maybe even until he's born as you never know you might decide when you are holding him in your arms that another name suits better. |

| I might just do that Mal. And Jay, why would someone think I'd name him a fruit? Better ask my grade 12's. They're the ones with fruit names on the brain. And I'd feel really sorry for someone named Apple. But then again, it'd be unique. |

Also, sorry for not posting in a long time. It sucks being behind on the episodes. I missed episode 17 /cry, and now im missing one right now! Aw man... |

I can also get you 17 now; they replayed it and I got it. Yeah, we didn't set it over enough...but all that happened is that he found future Hiro in Isaac's former studio. So, I'll burn you 17 and 20+. I should have at least one disc for you by Friday. |

The name can now be revealed as we have definitely settled on it. I know some people will think it's a strange name but for us, it is perfect. And the baby will have the same initials as both I and my husband have. I love the beauty of the name and the meaning too. If we were having a girl, the two names would be reversed.
Here it is:
Lyric Alchemy
Lyric: In poetry, a short verse from the point-of-view of one person that expresses a complex evolution of thought and emotion.
The words of a song.
Alchemy: A medieval form of chemistry that sought to turn base metals into gold, locate the panacea or the cure for all ills, and find the way to achieve immortality.
A miraculous transformation, or the means of achieving such a transformation.
Anyway, we are both a little weird so if this seems weird, it is! I told my students the name today by giving them a handout. I am such a teacher. |
