| I have a theory. The preview shown last week for tonight's episode showed another blonde cheerleader behind Claire in a quick scene shot. I think maybe Sylar or someone will try to kill a different cheerleader to maybe expose Claire and thus eventually all the heroes. |

Oh you have a really good eye. I didn't see that. Maybe he thinks the cheerleader who is invulnerable is really the one who took credit for saving the man from the train (can't remember her name.) |

| As it turns out, I was right but for the wrong reason. (That happens to me a lot!) Sylar DID kill the wrong blonde cheerleader, but basically because he screwed up and not because he wanted to expose the heroes. Makes me wonder how many other times he has screwed up and killed for what turned out to be no reason. |

He, like Peter, was fooled by the tribute to the cheerleader who claimed to have rescued the man. I wondered if that would have any future significance when she did it and, woops, got that bitch killed.
All the time he was killing her, I was screaming at Claire to stay down, play dead, but he probably would have killed her anyway, just to be safe. OMG that was one amazing episode. They have a huge challenge to make next week's part as good. But then again, it'll focus on Hiro a lot and how can that be anything but great! |

Ya, I was waiting for Clarie to stay down and not get up. It was pretty stupid of her to get up. I would have played dead. But Peter saved her so it did not matter.
For the whole time, I could not guess what to come next in the episodes, but watching Monday's episode, I got one guess right. It was that Peter will not really die because Claire will be near him and he will "pop back into place".
And Peter CAN'T die. He's my favorite! |

But the future is maleable and can be changed; in the future that Hiro came from, they didn't save the cheerleader, I assume, and that's why he had to warm Peter to "Be the one we need." |

I think "Be the one we need" is related to Peter's latest vision. I don't have a distinct theory but maybe by having Peter explode like how he did in the vision, he would be saving the world from a bigger catastrophe ? The heroes in the vision knew he was about to explode because they were all running away from him. Also, Claire saying sorry may indicate that they're somehow responsible for the explosion.
Can anyone elaborate on this suggestion ? I can't think of a coherent theory right now |
