I've found several really cool new styles at the official phpbb site and have them downloaded. I've also found some cool new smilie sets. And we have two new banners that I plan to use on the new styles. (You will be able to choose the style you like.)
Now I just need to see if a friend of mine can do the coding for me. I'm very familiar with vBulletin but am new to phpbb and spent 2 hours today trying to upload new smilies only to fail miserably!!
Stay tuned for new style choices and new smilies.
And thank you so much to Jay for the new banners. They are very different and both capture Heroes perfectly. You rock!! Keep the new banners coming as we can change them periodically and ultimately, I'd like to have 4 styles with four different banners to choose from for our Heroes family here.

I have someone on the job of putting up some new styles to choose from. In the meantime, there is another you can choose in your profile menu which is a very light grey and blue with a nicer banner. It's actually a really cool banner.
Hopefully soon, there will be 2 or 3 more! |

I like the silver/blue one a lot better than the green. For some reason it's easier to navigate.
And yay for the new smilies that are coming!  |

I also find the blue/white one a lot easier on the eyes as opposed to the green layout 
lookin forward to the new layouts however! |

| I like the banner, Terran, but I think it would be better if some of the other Heroes ie. Peter, Isaac.. were added in XP |

what banner are you refeing to the TJM1 style banner, or the dark sky one.
P.S. school almost done for the quarter. soon i will be able to do some more work |
