| If Peter was near or around Sylar, he'd absorb all of the other man's powers and would be just as strong. It's been pointed out in other threads that Peter, in his dreams, looked very similar to Sylar. So what if, in absorbing the man's powers, Peter somehow absorbs part of the evil that makes the man up? Clearly, Sylar is not mentally stable, and this could have an effect on Peter, if he does end up absorbing Sylar's powers. After being near Sylar while saving Claire, Peter was visibly sick in the next episode. I think that maybe this could be related to Peter exploding. All of the powers he's previously absorbed have been used by their heroes for good purposes. Sylar's however, haven't been. An internal clash like that could trigger the explosion. |

OMG!!! That is an amazing theory. And very logical, based on the clues we were given in that dream sequence. And in Peter's previous encounters with Sylar. Okay, now I really really can't wait until Jan. 22nd!!!  |

| I noticed that, too, from when Peter painted that painting of the dead cheerleader in Isaac's loft, he managed to do it even though he could never paint before. He can probably absorb more than just superpowers. |

| So if Peter can absorb certain personality characteristics then...it would make him alot more dangerous, I think, because he could then be manipulated by other people's intentions, simply by being around them and absorbing them. |
