In order to cut down on the spammers and spambots we are now validating members manually.
This means that it may take up to a few days for your new account to be validated. This is because we are seeing an increase in spam bots joining and we check that each new account isn't spam before we approve.
If you are a new, validating member you could speed things up by :
1. Use a valid email address! <--this is a biggie.. some real people do use fake or temporary email to join forums, and sometimes I give people the benefit of the doubt, but we NEVER pass on your email on to anyone, and if you make it invisible to members, only admin can see it. Web email is fine, as long as it's valid.
2. Using a city or state for location - not just a country ( or use your imagination!)
