So, what movies are you looking forward to and why? I don't see many movies in the theatre since I like watching in my jammies and I have a pretty good home theatre.

One movies I can't wait to see on DVD is Descent. It's a British horror movie and got great reviews everywhere. I love horror and sci fi and it's hard to find anything original anymore.

What about you?.... Wink Wink

Right now, movies aren't ranking high on my interest scale, but I am still searching for a store that carries The Chumscrubber in stock for sale =P

I really want to see Stranger than Fiction, all the previews look reallly good. As well, I want to see Happy Feet, because it pretty much looks adorable. I think I'll probably end up renting them when they come out though, seeing too many movies in the theatre gets pricey.

I really also want to see The Fountain. I love Darren Aronofsky. I've got a friend who loved it but said that a lot of people don't really get it. But I have similar taste to his and think I'll probably love it.

I'm actually aching to see Apocalypto, directed by Mel Gibson. I first saw the trailer in the summer, and the cinematography, costuming, and locations just blew me away...looking forward to another likely epic.

Aaaaand, since I'm a self-proclaimed Gyllenhaalic, I can't wait for Zodiac. Cool

If you like horror and suspense, Hostel is a great movie. Very original, shocking, and worth watching more than once (I bought it.)

I love Jake and Maggie too. What is Zodiac? I haven't heard of it.

Quote:
Plot Synopsis: A serial killer in the San Francisco Bay Area taunts police with his letters and cryptic messages. We follow the investigators and reporters in this lightly fictionalized account of the true 1970's case as they search for the murderer, becoming obsessed with the case. Based on Robert Graysmith's book, the movie's focus is the lives and careers of the detectives and newspaper people.

Hmm..I really don't like the lack of originality in Hollywood. Every big budget blockbuster movie being churned out is either a sequel, a prequel, a remake, or adaptation of some other movie, TV show, book, movie, musical, or real life event.

I can't wait for Resident Evil 3 (Extinction) it looks like it's gonna be great! It's going to have more characters from the games like Chaire Redfield (played by Ali Larter who is Niki from heroes for those who don't know Mr. Green), Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine (again >.<), Carlos Oliveira (again >.>), and Albert Wesker! Very Happy Mr. Green

I wanna see how they'll do Wesker and how big Chris and Wesker roles will be Very Happy (hehe I hope they have a fight scene or something Mr. Green)

Oh very cool. Although I think they went way off course with the second movie.

I loved Hostel. >D What a great movie.

Mm, I'm a foreign horror lover, though. I just watched Ju-On 2 not so long ago.. I heard there was a third, so I'm anticipating that. I hear it's awesome (The Grudge will never do Ju-On justice). I can never remember the names of all the movies I mean to see, though. xD I go on movie binges at the rental store and raid the foreign section.

yeah, I think so too, and I think it's going to keep going off course with the 3rd movie but what I've seen of the movie and what I've seen for the 5th game, and what I read about the movie, Resident Evil 3 (the film) and Resident Evil 5 (the game) might have some connection ^^ but I'm not hundred percent sure >.<
