After watching Monday's episode of Heroes, I had few questions pop into my mind.
One: Was it coincidental that Hiro was in the restaurant when the waitress died?
Two: What if Hiro does not come back to present on time?
Three: If Hiro stops time, does Syler stop with all the other people/things as well?
Then my thoughts expended by themselves into radical resolutions, and I am going to share them (obviously).
I thought Syler attacking the waitress was not coincidental because none, and I mean NONE, of the incidents that happened in the show so far was coincidental. Everything and everyone in the show was linked together somehow and I think Syler's attack plays into that. What I thought was that Syler decided to go after the waitress because Hiro was there.
Now, stay with me because it starts to get tricky here. The death of the waitress evoked Hiro into going into the past and stopping the waitress from coming to work that day. Hiro's friend (whose name I don't remember) tries to stop Hiro because Hiro has not mastered his power yet. And at the end of the episode, when his friend counted to 5, Hiro was not back from his time travel, which indicated to me that Hiro was trapped in time somewhere.
So, let us say that Syler is vulnerable to Hiro's time freeze attack. If Hiro meets up with Peter to stop Syler from getting to Claire, he will be able to freeze time and stop Syler. And we all know that is not what Syler wants. So, I think Syler purposely attacked the waitress to have Hiro travel through time and not come back in time to save Claire.
My hypothesis seems a little far-fetched, I admit, but I couldn't help but share. You don't have to reply to my radical idea, but if you have any thoughts on any of the questions I asked at the top of this post, feel free to enlighten me. |

| I wouldn't call that far-fetched. I would call it completely reasonable given that Sylar seems to be sort of psycho. What I'm wondering is, how does Sylar know about the other heroes and all their doings? How possibly would he know about Hiro? |

| That is a really great theory. And if Sylar was involved with Dr. Suresh and killed him, he may have had access to all his data and to the map. So, he might know about all of them. He certainly has been killing them one by one. |

| Here's another problem: How much does Sylar know about HRG and his operation? How much does HRG know about Sylar? It's possible they have a longer history together than we know about. As previously stated by others, I think it's entirely likely that Sylar could be Claire's biological father and that her mother was accidentally killed when HRG's operatives tried to study Sylar. |

Whoa, on the theory that Syler is Claire's biological father. If that theory really turns out to be true, I don't know if my mind can handle it! @_@
I mean, I don't want a dad who wants to kill me, but it's a great and mind-blowing theory. |
